課程概述

‧ This course will focus on writing in an academic context. Students will use different rhetorical modes and culminate in short writings (500-word paragraphs and a 1000-word short essay) on various subjects.
‧ The class will take the form of a workshop where students are required to participate in the entire writing process, from brainstorming to reproduction of drafts, individually or in groups. Therefore, attendance is essential.
‧ The three hours of class time per week will be devoted to discussions, workshops, lectures, correcting and rewriting sessions, and oral presentation 

課程目標
  Demonstrate the phases of writing: drafting, crafting, revising, and editing.
 Demonstrate ability to write in various modes: exposition, argumentation, description and narration.
 Explore sources of writing: reading, thinking, analyzing, and discussion.
